Human Resources Consultant (Reward System & Compensation)
Our client is a leading consultancy firm with worldwide operations.
The firm is a dominant player in its chosen space, offers a wide range of consultancy services, and is among top 10 firms in the world.
Our client is seeking to recruit results driven and motivated Human Resource Practitioner, with substantial experience in the reward system and compensation area of HR practice.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing HR advisory services to businesses and organisations, especially in the area of employee reward systems and compensation.

Help companies develop and communicate reward and compensation policies, train employees, and implement effective human resource capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provision of innovative human capital consulting services
  • Advise companies on best human capital management strategies.
  • Help clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their reward and compensation system.
  • Perform internal reviews and audit of current reward and compensation policies.
  • Ensure business practices are in accordance with human resource policies and labor laws.
  • Help train managers and HR teams.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations.
  • Lead HR-related projects.
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce retention programs through effective implementation of effective reward and compensation policies
  • Act as a direct interface for employees and managers to provide advice and support on HR related questions on HR policies, procedures and practices.
  • Exercises utmost judgment within generally defined practices and policies to determine best methods for solution selection
  • Providing support to the HR Business Partner/Manager in reward and compensation modelling
  • Management and communication of key reward and compensation processes
  • Support, co-ordinate and present in HR briefing sessions on topical HR issues
  • Ensure HR Business Partners and Management are informed of any HR related agendas/issues which require attention
  • Ensuring standard proven best practices and high quality service for customer queries
  • Reinforce a positive image of the company in all initiatives
  • Keep abreast of employment law to ensure companies remains compliant
  • Generate ideas for continuous improvement and implement approved HR suggestions
  • Ad hoc / varying HR projects as required
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience
  • A degree in pure/social sciences/Human resource, specializing in reward and compensation models. A master’s degree in a similar field is an added advantage
  • Professional certification in human resource
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar consulting position or at least 5 years’ experience in a HR function of a large organization
  • Computer Literacy.
