RECRUITMENT OF MONITORING AND PROJECT OFFICER
FXB Rwanda is a Rwandan Local Non Governmental Organization (NGO) created in February 2012. It is affiliated to FXB International; an international NGO created in 1989, whose mission is to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS. In line with its program implementation in seven districts of Rwanda, FXB Rwanda would like to recruit a “Monitoring and Project Officer” who will report directly to the Programs Director and will be based in Kigali – Kimihurura.
Key responsibilities include:
-Assist the programs Director to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators;
-Coordinate the implementation of baseline surveys, follow up on monitoring and evaluation exercises for various initiatives of the program;
-Orient programming, monitoring and evaluation methods and principles and report writing techniques and requirements for relevant donors to ensure compliance;
-Participate actively in collecting data from the field for proposal writing;
-Compile monitoring and evaluation reports from district offices;
-Represent FXB Rwanda in meetings organized by USAID and other partners;
-Coordinate compilation and dissemination of Annual and Quarterly Reports for the programs;
-Facilitate documentation and reporting of assessments, program data, lessons learnt and best practices for internal and external sharing;
-Develop and maintain effective information database on projects, providing resource and necessary support for program inputs and outputs;
-Act as a focal person for communication with donors and other stakeholders, coordinating information request and documentation of best practices for internal and external sharing.
Qualifications and experience
The Candidate must:
-Have adequate experience in the following areas
1. OVC program management;
2. M&E planning;
3. Budget planning and execution; and
4. Partnership and negotiation skills.
-Have experience in and be familiar with USAID programs implementation,
-Have a bachelor’s degree in development studies, social sciences, public health or any other relevant field; -Be fluent in French and English
-Have Driving license (Cat. B) is advantage
