Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima is a Harvard-affiliated international NGO that has partnered with the Government of Rwanda to strengthen the health system and support poverty reduction initiatives in rural Rwanda since 2005.
PIH/IMB is seeking outstanding candidates for the following positions. Female candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.

Position Title: IMB Mental Health Program Manager-Re-advertised

Reports to: IMB District Clinical Director, IMB Clinical Director

Location: Burera District, Rwanda
The IMB Mental Health Manager will be primarily responsible for the implementation and management of the IMB Mental Health Program. In addition to clinical mentorship, training, and capacity building of clinical staff and community health workers in mental health services, this position will serve to lead general administrative, human resources, reporting and budget management duties. The position will be mentored by international experts in global delivery of mental health services also engage in a national and international level on mental health policy, education, and research initiatives. The position is based primarily in Burera district at Butaro hospital, with some travel to Kayonza and Kirehe districts.

Requirements for the position:

• A degree in clinical psychology (A0 level) or an advanced diploma in mental health nursing (A1 level) or equivalent is required.
• Masters level in public health OR significant experience in program management, preferably health or mental health related programs,
• Computer skills in internet, email, word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Office applications)
• Quantitative skills in data collection, data management, data analysis, and research are highly desired
• Strong managerial experience and skills, demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Kinyarwanda is required; French abilities are also helpful.
• Ability to work creatively, independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task and reprioritize easily. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Demonstrated interest in public health and social justice
