Braeburn Arusha, part of the Braeburn Group of International Schools, is seeking a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for ensuring that financial activities meet global requirements and local regulations at all times.
- Interact and cooperate with all company managers and employees.
- Maintain contacts with customers, suppliers, bankers, government bodies and group accounting colleagues.
- Lead an effective local accounting department, demonstrating high integrity.
- Be responsible for daily accounting issues and accurate data entry.
- Ensure statutory audits are conducted efficiently and timeously.
Qualifications/Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
- ACCA / CPA Qualified.
- Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- At least 5 years working experience, 3 of which should be at senior level.
- Good command of English and Swahili
