EPZA Compliance and Enforcement Technicians Job Vacancies in Kenya 2013
Export Processing Zones Authority is a State Corporation established through an Act of Parliament Cap 517 of the laws of Kenya to oversee all aspects of development of Export Processing Zones (EPZs) in Kenya.
The economic objectives of the EPZ program include employment creation, export diversification/expansion, investment attraction, technology transfer and backward linkages between the EPZs and domestic suppliers.
The Authority has the following vacant positions:-
Compliance and Enforcement Technician
3 Positions
Job Ref: EPZA/CET/16/11/2013
The incumbents shall report to the Water and Sewerage Manager for the following;
- Carrying out regular surveillance of the water infrastructure
- Disconnecting/Reconnecting of all clients’ accounts based on the approved list by the Manager, Water & Sewerage;
- Reporting illegal connections;
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on disconnections and reconnections;
- Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have KCSE D- and above
- Possession of a certificate in water engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage
- At least two years’ experience in relevant field will be added advantage
- Must have proficiency in computer packages
- Possession of motor cycle rider’s license will be an added advantage
- Must have client orientation and customer care skills
- Must have a high degree of integrity and dependability
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and consistently meet strict deadlines
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
