Regional Emergency Food Security and Livelihoods Adviser

Contract Type: Open Ended

Location: HECA Regional Centre Office, Nairobi – Kenya
Level: Global, Level C1 Competitive salary and excellent benefits
The Role
Provide regional analysis on evolving food security, work with partner and link up with global advisers on risk reduction, social protection and agriculture to ensure technical support to the 8 countries where we work in HECA.
What we are looking for:
  • Masters qualification in related field (rural development, livelihoods, agriculture, etc);
  • significant technical leadership on food security and livelihoods issues in Horn and East Africa, including working with pastoral populations and experience in policy briefing and evaluating impact of livelihoods interventions.
