Expression of Interest for Members in Category “E” Establishment of Kisumu County Policing Authority

We are in the process of establishing Kisumu county Policing Authority which shall comprise of;

B. County representative appointed by Inspector general of police

C. Two elected members nominated by County Assembly

D. Chairperson of County Security Committee.

E. At least six other members appointed by H.E. the Governor, from among the following categories of persons ordinarily resident in the County.

i. The business sector

ii. Community based organization

iii. women.

iv. Person with special needs

v. Religious organization

vi. The Youth.

Those referred in “E” above are asked to apply stating clearly the category interested in.

They must also attach.

i. Clearance certificate from Criminal Investigation Department/Police.

ii . Kenya Revenue Authority

iii. Clearance Certificate from Ethics and Anti-corruption commission

iv. If a graduate; Higher Education Loans Board clearance certificate

v. A copy of National Identity card

vi. Credit clearance certificate.
 

Note: Category A-D are direct appointees by H.E. the Governor. But for category “E”, members of the Public who wish to be part of the established Kisumu County Policing Authority and should apply individually based on the set eligibility criteria above.
