• Planning and execution of financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits
• Coordination of work with Risk, Legal, Operations and other control-related activities in the organization
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying and putting in place controls to mitigate identified risks
• Overall responsibility for performing audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques
• Analyzing and determining effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, both financial and operational
• Identification of control gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Prepares timely audit reports for executive management and Group
• Contributes, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor
• Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and within agreed guidelines

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution
• Designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and or ACCA
• A minimum of seven years of experience working at the professional and management level of accounting and auditing
• Proficiency in basic accounting principle, audit procedures and techniques and internal controls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Ability to use sound judgment
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details
