Senior Sales Executive – Polymers

The incumbent will assist in the implementation of approved Polymers sales plans, marketing and sales budgets for SABIC office in the region and achieve all desired objectives in terms of Polymers sales, revenues, market share and customer satisfaction

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Ensure that SABIC’s market share in the territory is maintained and or increased based on the business plan and product allocation.
  • Regular Customer visits in the region to monitor and improve sales.
  • Mediation of sales activities between SABIC HQ & customers in the region.
  • Manage customers’ orders to ensure that only the most efficient service is provided, throughout the sales process including on time delivery and after sales support.
  • Prompt response and handling of customer requirements complaints in all business aspects, commercial, logistics as well as technical.
  • Provide various SBUs with clear, reliable and on time information about the market assessment, environment, competition and sales performance, through our solid and reliable customers network.
  • Prepares periodical reports (KPI and Sales reports) and submit them to the Senior Manager.
  • Assists in collections from customers as needed.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • University degree / Diploma in related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales and marketing knowledge to implement sales principles, strategies related to industrial products
  • Excellent Command of English. (written and spoken)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
  • Ability to lead, train and coach commercial assistants.
Senior Sales Executive – Fertilizers
The incumbent will assist in the implementation of approved Fertilizer sales plans, marketing and sales budgets for SABIC office in the region and achieve all desired objectives in terms of Fertilizers sales, revenues, market share, customer satisfaction
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Receives his work plan from the Sales Manager, showing the scope of his responsibility
  • Establishing annual plans and coordinate marketing activities with the various SBUs
  • Regular Customer visits in the region to monitor and improve sales
  • Direct handling of sales activities to customers in region
  • Manage customers’ orders for efficient service, throughout the sales process
  • Prompt response and handling of customer requirements complaints in all business aspects, commercial, logistics as well as technical.

Supply Chain Officer – Polymers
The incumbent Supply Chain Officer’s scope of the work is execution and monitoring WITHIN Polymers and IP SBU’s WITH the objective of ensuring optimal operation and improving on time delivery and minimizing logistics costs.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Running daily operations for direct order, marine shipments and documentations in order to make sure timely shipment and  meet the customer’s expectation
  • Documentation management by communicating 3rd parties and HQ for on time documents delivery to avoid any extra costs or charges
  • System management (material movement, closing orders, reconciling the physicals & systems)
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all performance for different kind deliveries and reporting the shipping line performance to related parties.
  • Ensure logistics policies and procedures are followed, monitor operations and report deviations
  • Customer relationship management
  • Maintain accurate, quality and reliable data
Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:
  • University degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Shipping/Logistic Management
  • Excellent Command of English both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics operations and strategy
  • Prior experience in logistics systems and presentation
Senior Manager – HR & Admin
Reporting to the Country Leader, the incumbent will manage all HR/Financial activities at SABIC office to ensure achievement of the strategic objectives
 
Principal Accountabilities:
 
HR
  • Has prime focus on employee issues in SABIC related office and all development and training activities as per approved man power and career development plans
  • Ensure full compliances of all HR practices according to applicable regulations
  • Manage and organize the office administration to comply with the corporate requirements. (crisis management / safety & security)
Finance & Admin
  • Managing, controlling and organizing accounting system of the company. Reporting to local, HQ Management, SABIC South Africa
  • Manage and support the process of budgeting to achieve financial and strategic goals.
  • Manage the receivable and payables of the company as well as other current assets
  • Manage the process of funding and payments
  • Monitoring and controlling Tax Fillings, payments and facilitating financial audits
  • Support SABIC South Africa in executing transfer pricing process
  • Articulate and administer the office service contracts on the basis of the best value for the money in terms of providers, quality and completeness
  • Manage expat taxes
Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:
  • University degree in a relevant field, CPA(K) or ACCA professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in budgeting, controlling, accounting, cost accounting and human resources management
  • Experience in PASTEL accounting
  • Excellent Command of English both written and spoken
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
  • Ability to lead, train, coach and operate in a dynamic environment with diverse cultures.
