Education, knowledge and skills:

• Post-graduate degree in international relations, political science or other relevant field or experience;
• A minimum of 10 years experience in Management in peace building fields in developing countries;
• Very strong management skills, including planning, coordination, supervision, reporting
• Proven ability to fundraise especially among the Scandinavian donors;
• Experience in capacity-building, especially ability to mentor and coach colleagues and staff of partners;
• Understanding of budgetary control and resource allocation procedures;
• Ability to provide technical oversight of the two offices in liaison with the Head office in Sweden
• Ability to provide financial oversight on the organization finances
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language;
• Ability to write and communicate with a Scandinavian language, especially Swedish
