Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (LWC), based in Isiolo Kenya, is an organization which works as a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat.
We invite applications for the position of Security Administrative Officer.
This position reports to the Chief Security Officer and the Chief Conservation Officer.
The primary purpose of this position is management of day to day administration, governance and logistics of the Security and Wildlife Departments, ensuring effective systems and procedures are in place to support operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Proposal writing and donor reporting
- Managing the overall work processes of the Security Department
- Ensure efficient logistical processes
- Administrative duties in the Security and Wildlife departments
- Facilitate procurement of security and wildlife equipment in liaison with the Procurement Department
- Preparing and administering the Security Department budget
Required Skills, Responsibilities and Abilities
- BA degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
- Demonstrate basic accounting skills
- Proficient in computer packages and MS Access
- Having a minimum of 3 years’ experience at a management level
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, supervisory and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise time, manage diverse activities and meet deadlines
- Possession of a driving license will be an added advantage
