Manager, Sales, Support & Enablement

Roles & Responsibilities

The role will require the candidate to manage sales support and field enablement activities for IT Solutions & Service sales in the region of responsibility.

  • To guide and help respective practice resources (BDMs and PMs) to formulate and finalize GoToMarket Strategy for their respective solutions/products.
  • Formulize a detailed sales enablement program for the field sales workforce based on vertical market focus:  publish sales enablement calendar, frequent workshops, trainings, GTM sessions, identify accounts and marketing to generate a push for demand generation.
  • To provide support to sales work force in building their skills for various sales activities like making quality presentations, handling customer objections, negotiation skills, etc.
  • Help each IT Solutions Practice to develop short and long term GTM strategy, tactics, sales plans and targets aligned with each Country of operations.
  • Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
  • To devise a plan for each practice building more capacity, skills and resources where required in the areas of: Business Development, Sales & Marketing, and Account Management.
  • Liaise with Marketing to ensure marketing communication, demand generation and messaging is properly aligned with each Practice against each Country.
  • Act as mentor and work very closely with the business development department responsible for doing market research, collecting competitive industry intelligence and effectively putting enablement programs to go to market.
Skills and expertise

7 years experience in the IT Industry, 3 of which must be in a Sales Support role

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate degree from a reputed Institution, preferable with a science background.
  • Proven IT Solutions & Services sales experience, with a good record of achieving targets.
  • 3 years experience in heavy coordination and facilitation in a pre-sales/sales support role across multiple industry verticals and geographies.
  • Multi vendor / SI Program / Channel management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in IT Solutions marketing, positioning and selling enterprise solutions such as ERP, CRM, HCM/Payroll  is highly preferred
  • Good Networking across the Industry
  • Solid knowledge of key vertical markets, i.e. Public Sector, NGOs, BFSI.
  • Proven people leadership
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, and both technical and non- technical, and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in a professional and service-oriented manner in a multi-cultural environment.
