Responsibilities

• Effective budget and finance management
• Supervise and manage the accounting of the mission
• Overall management of human resources functions
• Ensure an effective and operational logistic service
• Administration – office management

• Minimum five (5) years of Previous experience in humanitarian work, including previous experiences as mission Finance/administrator.
• Proven experience of management/reporting of donor funding (EC, CIAA, Echo, and UN) and good knowledge of their requirements.
• Good knowledge of standard logistic and procurement procedures.
• Microsoft Pack office proficient and familiar with accounting soft (Saga and/or others)
• University degree in economics/finance and/or other related studies.
• High polyvalence and multi tasks ability (HR, Finance, logistic, administration).
• Proven experience of capacity building of national staff.
• Ability to work with tight deadline and with minimum support/supervision.
• Familiarity with Horn of Africa context (especially Kenya/Somalia)

• The Logistics manager is responsible of the SIF logistic department providing support services to Kenya and Somalia program.
• Ensure timely procurement of program and offices needs through application of the SIF procurement procedures and respecting donor requirement.
• Ensure mobilization of logistic resources in term of national and international transport
• Manage organization assets (recording, dispatch, maintenance, archiving).
• Providing other support as required by the organization needs Movement planning, maintenance building, construction, IT maintenance, etc.

• Relevant diploma or equivalent in the logistic sector (Supply, transport/export, procurement, warehousing, ICT, or other relevant)
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in the logistic sector with NGO and/or UN agency at manager level.
• Proven experience of large and various purchases through public tendering.
• Proven experience in international transport, export and custom clearance.
• Highly motivated to join a new INGO in Kenya; Proactive and able to work independently.
• Proven experience in team management and team player in a larger team.
• Proficient in Microsoft pack office and communication system (an IT study is a plus).
