Our client would like to fill the vacancy of Business Analyst

Job Purpose / Summary 

The Business analyst will be involved in identifying problems, needs, and opportunities for improvement at all levels of the organization and define the solution which helps the organization achieve its goals.
The job holder performs a type of checks and balances for the company so that he/she may provide real-time reports and analysis of the current status of the company as a business entity.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Keep track of and Report on all business projects
  • Regular provision of information in graphs, texts, tables etc to decision makers within the organization
  • Building financial models, creating and delivering presentations, and working with the company subject matter experts to develop perspectives and insights for the business
  • Work with other departments to obtain the most relevant information that is critical for reporting.
  • Work with all available business technologies and tech tools
  • Must review the data of the company and make suggestions for doing a more efficient job.
  • Participate in troubleshooting problems and providing solutions via intensive computer-based research and analysis
  • Responsible for training employees from time to time and developing standards and work-flow procedures for the staff force to follow
  • Meet with the pertinent parties, including management and employees, who are necessary to the successful completion of business analysis.
  • Analyze important data related to the business such as business records, operating manuals, business guides and other pertinent documents.
  • Construct new/enhanced procedure manuals, institute new/enhanced company procedures and take any other important and necessary steps towards resolving any problems with the business.
  • Prepare graphs, charts and analyze documents which show what changes need to be taken by the organization.
  • Prepare detailed report on steps of improvement to be taken as a result of business analysis and anything further the management of the organization must take into their own hands to ensure that the company is in the best state possible.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A degree holder in business related field
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good business acumen
  • Experience in Enterprise reporting
  • Very strong in Excel/Advanced Excel including pivot Tables/VBA Macros
  • High level of business intelligence and technical skills
  • A background in computer programming

Salary Budget: Kshs. 170,000
