Enumerator Job at Concern Worldwide

Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.

The City of Nairobi exemplifies rapid urbanization amidst deteriorating economic and health conditions. More than 60% of urban poor reside in the informal settlements. Urban poverty is characterised by lack of employment, low wages and returns from informal employment, and extremely poor levels of basic services such as housing, sanitation, health care and education.

Conditions in the informal settlements create greater exposure to violence (often sexual and gender based), unwanted pregnancies and adverse health and nutrition outcomes, particularly for women and children. To determine the current situation in health and nutrition outcomes, Concern Worldwide is planning to conduct a Health and Nutrition Survey.

The purpose of the casual engagement is to pilot the data collection tools and conduct the actual data collection for the Health and Nutrition smart survey.
