On behalf of our customer Telescope Services AB is in urgent need to find a Developer with ASIC and FPGA experience who will be a part of the Systems team in Digital Radio ASIC program.
Responsibilities:
- To systemize and design the digital ASIC parts of the Radio signal chain, between Baseband and RF
- To work in early phases to set ASIC requirements and investigate how to implement new functionality
- To work in close cooperation with Digital Radio design teams, ASIC layout teams, SW design teams and Systems
- The daily work could consist of implementing linearization algorithms for efficiency enhancement solutions for RF amplifiers, but also implementation of other support functionality needed in the radio units
Required skills:
- Previous experience in Radio design and development, electrical engineering, engineering physics
- Knowledge of FPGA/ASIC design methodology
- Competence within the field of signal processing, telecommunication and radio technology
- Knowledge of synthesis (e.g. Synplify, Synopsys DC) and place&route (e.g. ISE, Vivado, Quartus)
- Familiar with version control tools
- Programming skills (Matlab, SystemVerilog/SystemC, Tcl, Python, C/C++)
- Processor architectures
- Fluent in English
- Communication skills
- Ability to describe functions accurately are important
- Knowledge of generic radio building blocks will be a plus
