Our Client: A leader in FMCG / Liquor Industry; owning and operating duty free travel retail shops at airports and seaports worldwide, as well as involving in brand development, marketing, and sales.
The company is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating through a network of offices and warehouses in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Industry: Retail / Duty Free

Position: Business Development Manager – FDD for Nairobi, Kenya

Job Purpose: The Manager will be responsible for Business Development and Customer Management for the FDD business in the assigned country.

Type of Hire: Country National

Remuneration: Gross Salary of USD 1,500 plus commission on sales up to 4%

Job Description:

  • Identify all potential customers (organization’s, Duty free shops etc.)
  • Identify key customers
  • Communication with the customers
  • Keep updated information on customers including their contact details email IDs etc.
  • Categorize customers and treat them accordingly (ABC)
  • Create minutes of meetings and share with reporting manager
  • Plan deadlines for FCL in coordination with HQ
  • To coordinate with Freight Forwarder and HQ
  1. Inform customers to prepare the needed papers (Duty exemption form etc.)
  • Ensure all payments are made in time.
  • Check with customer and ensure material delivery in good condition
  • Provide report after Deadline
