Acorn Group – a leading Property Development Company with interests in commercial, office, retail and master – planned development is looking for a highly ambitious candidate to fill this position in their main office in Nairobi:
Business Process Analyst
Reporting to the Director – Strategy and Advisory Services, this is a position responsible for analysing, mapping and documenting all the systems and processes of the Company. 
The incumbent will also assist in defining the automation needs of all departments and in the implementation of appropriate automated solutions. 

He/she will also clarify and define system requirements, propose potential solutions and coordinate the implementation or modification of technology and/or process automation solutions.


Principal Accountabilities:
  • Analyzing, modelling, and mapping all business processes and systems to create a complete picture of all work – flows across the Company
  • Evaluating existing systems and processes and proposing initiatives of reengineering the same so as to reduce waste and enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the entire organization
  • Identifying new approaches and solutions to business issues identified through analysis of processes and coordinating the implementation of the same after obtaining the buy – in from the key stakeholders
  • Coordinating requirements walk – through and sign – off, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that process models and maps accurately portray specific business needs
  • Evaluating potential software solutions, including off – the – shelf and open source components and the system architecture to ensure that they meet current and anticipated business requirements
  • Coordinating all the stages of the implementation of identified software solutions; which might include complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions
  • Facilitating testing, training and user acceptance and overseeing cut – over to the implemented solutions
  • Providing support to end users to ensure seamless operation of implemented solutions; and acting as an effective interface between the end users of the technology and the software providers
  • Coordinating any upgrades/modifications to implemented solutions as appropriate; and business process improvement initiatives
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in business process analysis/IT systems implementation experience
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and process mapping skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi – task, work under pressure, think analytically and communicate effectively
  • Strong experience in an information technology or business process management environment including systems analysis, design, implementation and integration
  • Ability to manage multi – level projects
