Position: Farm Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Naivasha
Responsibilities
- All details for the day to day running of a 200 ha vegetable production unit for the export market
- All aspects of farm planning for labor and operations from planting to harvest
- Implementation of accurate planning for top quality consistent production of product
- Timely reporting and follow up of crop production
- Implementation of all areas of Global Gap etc
- Development and management of a competent management team
Requirements
- Certificate or Degree in Agriculture or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level
- Good knowledge of global gap and other relevant protocols
- A full working knowledge of the crop walker computer system
