Makini High School is a private mixed secondary school offering the Kenyan curriculum under the 8-4-4 system while incorporating global best practice in pedagogy. We seek to recruit an Art & Design Teacher for the High School. The teacher will support Art & Design in Upper Primary (class 6-8) on need basis.

We are looking for a teacher who is able to prepare candidates for the KCSE National Examination, enjoys collaborating with teams and keep the learners inspired by his/her desire and enthusiasm to develop learning in the visual arts.

Requirements

• Must be TSC Registered;
• Bachelor’s degree in Art & Design
• A practitioner in both 2D and 3D media;
• Ability to support co-curricular activities in art & design.

Desirable

• Previous experience in teaching KCSE candidates
• Additional Art & Design certifications/ qualifications
