We are a feeds manufacturing company with its headquarters at Thika and a branch in Mombasa, seeking to employ a competent cash receivables accountant, skilled and knowledgeable in the field of accounts, to offer support and expertise in the accounts department.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities for the incumbent
- To ensure the health of the company’s current cash flows by ensuring that all sales are closed within the shortest time possible via enforcing the following cash collection measures: Strictly cash on delivery, Collection of current cheques on deliver, PD cheques summary.
- Calling of customers to make payment follow-ups
- Confirmation of cash collection against received cash
- Completing unpaid debts and reporting on daily basis
- Proper Till-M-Pesa reconciliation on daily basis
- PD Cheque posting upon clearing
- Any van-sale with a balance should be accompanied with a note showing where the balance cash is and with whom
- Ensure the sales reps sign the DIOBF book as and when they report to the office for the respective invoices left and file the yellow copy in the sales rep’s file
- Ensure that the sales register is pulled for the current day’s sales
- Pull all sales from the beginning of the month and work on the open invoices register and follow debts clearance
- Providing daily reports as shall be directed by the senior accountant
- Any other function as shall be delegated to you by the senior accountant
Key requirements:

- On time invoice analysis
- Accurate Sales persons statement and commissions
- A member of ICPAK
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in BCOM or Business Related Field
- At least CPA Part 3
- Minimum two years’ experience in a related function
- Computer proficiency
- Possess good analytical and communication skills
