Position Title: Airfreight Imports Supervisor
Reports To: Airfreight Imports Manager
Direct Reports / Supervises: Import OPS Supervisor, Client Operations Managers
Job Purpose: To coordinate the operations process and ensure clients expectations are met

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth and efficient running of import activities
- Maintain key performance indicators and review centers report
- Oversee order processing activities including rates determination, filtering of sales leads within the network
- Maintain good relationships with the carriers and all government and statutory institutions
- Visit clients in order to retain them
- Resolve airline/operational disputes
- Verify, approve and control billing
- Advise on the client invoicing rates
- Formulate and control the department’s budget
- Ensure the departmental targets are achieved
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to management for decision making.
- Allocation of cargo to different transporters for delivery
- Approve lodging of customs entries and payment of taxes on behalf of clients
