The generic minimum requirements applicable to the posts are as follows:
Competency in the post specific core functions
A Senior Certificate or at least an completed applicable SAQA accredited NQF 4 qualification
Fluency in at least two of the official languages, of which one must be English
South African citizenship
No criminal record or pending criminal/departmental or civil cases
The ability to render at least 10 years’ pensionable service.
2 years’ appropriate/relevant experience in the core functions of the post and the completion of internship in the Public Service may serve as advantages.

Core functions:
Obtain quotations regarding needs as identified by the Unit
Establish a database regarding all national transversal contracts.
