General Manager, Finance and Support Services
In line with the recent developments and expansion, RwandAir is interested in hiring a qualified candidate for the following position: General Manager, Finance and Support Services at RwandAir; in order to support management in realizing its Vision and Mission.
JOB PURPOSE
Provide strategic financial leadership and support on the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization. Has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial related activities of the company. Has a direct responsibility for accounting, finance, budgeting, strategic planning, costing, legal, property management and deal analysis and negotiations. As a key member of the Executive Management team, he takes on a strategic role in overall management of the company. This integral role will demand technical skills paired with strong leadership to help the continued growth of the airline.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- University Degree in Commerce or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial management capacity along with 4 years in an executive/ senior leadership capacity.
- 5+ years of financial management experience, including demonstrated experience with complex financial analysis including strategy-based analyses/scenario modeling.
- Expert user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
