Kenya National Private Security Workers Union is a duly registered Trade Union with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, with the sole mandate of representing interests of unionizable employees engaged in provision of the Private Security Services in the Republic of Kenya. The Union has a potential guard force of over 500,000 members spread across the Country.

Country Network

In abide to increase the Unions Network Coverage to its members KNPSWU has opened branches in the following Counties: Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru,Uasin Gishu. Kisumu, Kiambu. Kakamega, Trans Nzioa, Nyeri, Machakos and Diplomatic Branch for purposes of enhancing service delivery and access to information for its members and the general publicin tandem with the Private Security Regulation Act, 2016, the main framework which the Union championed for its Enactment, meant to bring sectoral reforms in terms of fresh vetting of All Private Security Service Providers, training, remunerations and licensing, the Union is seeking to expand its Countrywide coverage in the 47 Counties for purposes of devolving services to members and aligning itself to the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

We are seeking to recruit 47 County Agents who shall spearhead and champion Union matters as well as provide quick link between members, our existing branches and the National Headquarters.

Qualifications

• He/She Must be 18 years and above
• He/She Must be in Possession of Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum educational qualifications 0- Level Certificate
• Experience in Private Security Work shall be an added advantage
• Training Course on matters of Industrial Relations, Dispute Resolution. Basic Computer skills or Public Relations shall be an added advantage.

Remunerations

Remunerations shall be on commission basis.
