Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the following positions:
 
Senior Legal Officer / Company Secretary

The Senior Legal Officer/Company Secretary will in addition to being the company secretary be responsible for; advising and obtaining advice on legal matters affecting the operations of the Institution and associated entities as well as providing leadership, innovative and practical support to diverse operational requirements.
S/he will be responsible for the preparation and finalisation of key legal documents and in ensuring statutory compliance.
Applicants must hold a Master’s in Law (LLM) degree and be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.
S/he should have 10 years post admission experience with demonstrable capacity in conveyancing, commercial law, labor law and litigation practice.
S/he should be a certified company secretary.
The ideal candidate should have ability to deliver under strict deadlines, be a team player and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
 
Medical Physicist
The Medical Physicist will assist in the selection, smooth operation and maintenance of all radiation equipment, as well as be responsible for Quality Assurance tests of radiotherapy equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards, radiation safety and security policies.
S/he will be responsible for CT simulation, treatment planning, dose distributions and monitor unit calculations, beam data management and consultation with Oncologists.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science-Honors in Physics / Medical Physics.
M.Sc. in Physics / Medical Physics will be an added advantage.
Registered member of a recognized Medical Physics Association & eligible for licensing from the Kenya Radiation Protection Board.
S/he should have a minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience as a Medical Physicist, preferably in a teaching hospital full equipped with relevant imaging and radiation therapy modalities.
Must be proficient and experienced in IMRT and 3D brachytherapy treatment planning.
