As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for our Recruitment Advisor team. 

 

In order to do this successfully you need to be smart, creative, flexible and tenacious as well as well versed with various technical tools to help you work smart. If you can demonstrate all of the above, then Duma Works would love to speak to you as we expand our team in Nairobi.

Our startup is investor-backed and growing quickly and you will be instrumental in achieving that growth. You will join and work together with a team of 12 dedicated individuals.

Desired Skills & Experience

If you start at Duma Works, you will:
  • Identify suitable companies (leads) to be contacted by Duma Works for partnerships
  • Research leads and identify key players
  • Handover leads to the Recruitment Advisors, educating them as necessary about the opportunity
  • Use Duma Works CRM to keep track of leads and keep their information up to date
  • Consistently achieve qualified lead quotas to ensure revenue objectives
  • Continuously optimise the sales development process to increase lead quotas
You will need:
  • To be a self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • Have positive and energetic, strong writing skills
  • Be fluent in English and Swahili
  • Be proficient with standard productivity tools (email, Google Docs, MS Office)
  • Have excellent time-management skills
  • A great sense of humour
  • Described as “smart and gets sh*t done”
It will definitely be useful if you have:
  • Sales training and CRM experience
  • Experience working in a startup environment
