Africa Business Rep resentative
Salary: $3000 – $4000
Our client, a global provider of field operation support systems to communication service providers is seeking to hire a business representative who will be responsible for new sales and business development across Africa (telecoms focused companies)
Number of persons managed: As required, may include, but not limited to,
- Pre-sales Engineer
- Regional sales partners/agents
Key Roles
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Sell into new corporate contacts and developing new opportunities for sales
- Influence senior management and lead complex software sales to close
Others
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue quota.
- Responsible for managing region, maximizing revenue, building future sales pipeline through demonstrated account and region planning
- Take necessary course of action to maintain or increase sales revenue
- Identify growth opportunities, develop appropriate prospect lists, implement product, provide first level support and retain business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior level executives at customer organizations, assist individual sales situations where necessary leading a sale throughout the sales cycle to close
- Selling into new corporate contacts and developing new opportunities for sales
- Report on sales activities and supply accurate sales forecasts to management
- Provide a consultative sales approach as a product expert to maximize revenue generation
- Manage customer accounts for upsales, payments and follow through on customer account issues to satisfactory resolution
Qualifications
- 5 years senior sales in IT or telecoms across multiple African countries
- Excellent Communication Skills written and oral
- Comfortable preparing and performing executive level presentations.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Commercial acumen
- Understanding and working knowledge of Networking Topologies and Telecom Technologies.
