GetBucks Kenya is a fast-growing microfinance institution (MFI) offering online loans to all who are formally employed and check-off systems to all civil servants, teachers and selected private companies countrywide.
We are seeking a highly competent, focused and results oriented professionals for the positions of Area Sales Managers.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations, supervising branch staff, managing the countries’ portfolios, and ensuring that country’s sales plan targets are achieved in line with the company’s philosophy.
S/he will spend significant amounts of time in the field, developing an excellent understanding of his/her operational area and the needs of the clients within the country.
The Area Sales Manager will lead the effort to expand client outreach while maintaining high quality loan assessment, loan approval, loan disbursement and delinquency management processes.

Most importantly s/he will ensure that the company delivers an outstanding service that is client focused and efficient at all times.
Eligibility Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce/Management with a bias in Sales and Marketing;
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of Branch Operations in a microfinance institution in a managerial capacity, or any relevant financial institution;
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and proficient use of the internet and email;
  • A thorough understanding of Kenyan Counties and willing to travel;
  • A thorough understanding of microfinance reporting indicators combined with excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand and process operations data;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven team work and leadership skills, and the ability to successfully build and manage a team and mentor all staff and agents in order to support professional development;
  • Organized, systematic and process oriented with good administrative skills;
  • The capacity to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and meet sales deadlines;
  • Flexible and resourceful; the ability to work under minimal supervision and willingness to be responsible for a varied set of tasks that will support the company’s growth and expansion;
  • A commitment to the Company’s mission and an enthusiasm to work in a challenging environment.
