Given the continued growth of our Africa portfolio, we are looking for a new team member who wants to contribute to the expansion.
Transaction Manager Agriculture in Nairobi
Your main tasks
- Assist Investment Officers in transaction structuring in close cooperation with the Legal Department
- Registering of funds in various countries of interest
- Execution of payments and FX hedging
- Collect sales contracts from Investees and conduct a preliminary check of funds and contracts
- Continuous investment administration (cash flow notification and tracking, legal documents tracking, monitoring and mark-to-market evaluation of commodity indexed contracts, setting –up and monitoring of collaterals as in Collateral Management Agreements and in fixed assets financing)
- Ensure the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and execution of transactions (preparation of legal documentation, relevant quality control, coordination of transfer of funds)
- General fund administration and operational link to Custody Bank and Management Company
- Act as a point of contact for our customers and business partners.
Your experience and skills
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of three years of work as Back or Middle officer or a paralegal in an international bank or other financial institution
- Strong MS-Office and Excel skills
- Proficiency in English and French required; any other additional language considered an asset
- Efficient, accurate and independent work style; able to work in close cooperation with team members located in different responsAbility offices, enjoys working in an international environment
- Analytical way of thinking, ability to stick to tight timelines and strong organizational and planning skills
- Interest in and enthusiasm for impact investments.
