Job Description & Skill Set
The IT department is seeking two brilliant software engineers who are passionate about technology and love to challenge themselves with complex tasks.
The software engineer should expect a hands-on technical role within a team charged with creating modules for Tracopay’s payment platform.
The software engineer will join a talented and motivated team and will be reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
We are looking for software engineers with the following skill set:
- Programming: expert level in one of the following languages C, C++, Python or PHP.
In addition, the software engineer should have a solid understanding of:
- Operating Systems: experience with Unix/Linux based operating systems.
- Network configuration: network administration and monitoring, network security and network protocols (Sockets, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, PPP, POP3, IMAP).
- Internet Security: implementation of internet security mitigations such as firewall policies, network configurations, cryptographic techniques i.e. smart tokens, zero-knowledge authentication protocols etc.
- Database design and administration: expertise in proper database design and big data querying techniques.
- Web application and server development.

5. Once you are done, go to ‘Dashboard’ and under each test that you have taken, click on ‘Share’ then ‘Link/Email’. Copy paste the link that appears for each of the tests you have done into one email addressed to hr@tracopay.com.
6. Attach your resume and cover letter to the email.
7. Remember to put your full names and the job title for this job advert in the subject of your email i.e. John Smith-Software Engineer
