Job Title: Android Developer
Location: Nairobi
Company Description: Runs a mobile app that seeks to digitize the Nyumba Kumi initiative.
Looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with a talented team to design and build the company to the next level.
You will be required do a three month internship before being fully in-cooperated in the company the terms of the internship will be discussed during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and API’s
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Have published Android apps ( give us the links to those apps and your github account if you have one )
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
