Job Description:

  • General management of the inbound department at the warehouse;
  • Responsible for the generation of all inbound reports and submission of the same to the Head of Warehouse;
  • Liaise with Head of Warehouse, Vender managers and Imports/Exports Logistics Specialists on shipments expected at the warehouse;
  • Responsible for supervising the receipt of new shipments and replenishments arriving at the warehouse while matching the delivery notes to the respective purchase orders;
  • Setting up quality control measures of received items and supervising the in-bounding process of the same on the Order Management System;
  • Generating bar codes for all items for easier identification and location purposes within the warehouse;
  • Management of warehouse storage locations for in-bounded products .i.e. Creation, deletion and updating;
  • Coordinating with the Head of Warehouse, Checkout / Dispatch teams on received items ordered by clients; supervising receipt of the same from the sourcing department and generation of barcodes for each item;
  • Receiving and in bounding demand Purchase Orders from local suppliers to be shipped to clients;
  • Liaise with the Production Manager on items to be photographed to go live on the website;
  • Supervising the receipt and quality control of returned items from the After-sales department and photo studio and re-in bounding the same back into the warehouse;
  • Supervising the cycle count process in the warehouse and confirming stocks both on the Order Management System;
  • Issuing items to the Marketing and Sales Manager for promotions and sales purposes while coordinating with the Finance department on sales of the same.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Logistics or a related course
  • 3 years relevant experience working in a busy warehouse / logistics environment
