IT Corporate Trainer Job Vacancy at Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu in Kenya 2015
The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu has attained acknowledgment of its quality by achieving ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, ISO 15189:2007 accreditation for laboratory services and is moving towards Joint Commission International Accreditation.
The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu has also expanded its services to Kisii, Kakamega, Busia, Kisumu, Bungoma, Kericho, Kitale and Homa Bay Counties.
Overall Responsibility: The successful candidate will provide timely, reliable, accurate and efficient information services to both staff and the customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the various specialized applications within Hospital environment; with focus on training of others
- Identify areas of gap in IT knowledge within the institution that are hampering institutional goals
- Identify training and growth initiatives in the area of IT skills in collaboration with HR department.
- Train new and existing employees on General IT and on usage of specialized hospital applications.
- Formulate training plans for implementation of Institutional IT skills requirements.
- Undertake any other IT initiatives identified by management.
- Re-training of users on new/updated functions
- Keep a training logs of the trainings conducted
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (preferably in a training environment).
- Proficiency in MS word and MS excel.
- Experience in Care 2000 Hospital Management System will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Previous training experience in a hospital environment is preferable.
