Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Horn of Africa, Yemen, South Sudan & Uganda Mission has been present in Somalia since early 2004 and has since expanded its programme to Kenya in 2006.
Since 2004, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has demonstrated a regional competence and expertise in working with displaced populations.
NRC’s main activity is the deliverance of humanitarian aid through programme activities in the field.
NRC specializes in five programme areas, or core competences – Shelter, Food Security, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, and Information Counselling and Legal Aid (ICLA). The core competences are adaptive to different contexts and mutually reinforcing.
The Regional Office is based in Nairobi, Kenya with offices and operations in Somalia (Puntland, Somaliland and Mogadishu), Kenya (Dadaab, Mandera & Kakuma), Ethiopia (Addis Abeba, Dolo Ado, Gambella, Shire & Assosa), Uganda (Adjumani), and South Sudan.

Reporting to: Regional Finance Director
Duty Station: Nairobi
Duration of Contract: 1 year contract (renewable)
