Air Conditioning System Design Engineer Job Opportunity in Kenya December 2014

Our client specializes in the manufacturing of heavy duty power equipment.

An opportunity exists for a competent Air Conditioning System Design Engineer operating principally in Kenya.

The position requires considerable design competency and attracts a commensurate and attractive income package.

Key Responsibilities:-

Lead in designing complete system installations in line with specifications and commissioning guidelines
Lead and manage installation of systems in line with specification and standards
Ensuring and monitoring servicing and maintenance of machines to deliver continuous working life in line with specifications & best practice
Lead, Manage and monitor trouble shooting while advising and carrying out repairs to ensure machines full-time availability in line with work allocation and schedule
Managing and monitoring effective and efficient purchase of stocks, spares and working tools in line with company policy, processes & procedures
Preparing maintenance schedules, conducting regular equipment reviews and other related assets
Entering and maintaining all records in relations to the area of work, processes and procedures
Benchmarking and advising on best practices including technology and local/international standard

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

A recognized University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
A thorough knowledge of air conditioning systems including design principals and related mathematics.
Ability to design precision and/or industrial AC
Ability to commission/fault find precision and/or industrial AC systems using state of the art digital test equipment
At least 5 years relevant experience
