The Catholic Diocese of Nakuru (CDN) – Radio Amani 88.3FM Nakuru, wishes to recruit a highly motivated and competent individual to fill the position of Head of Sales and Marketing.
The head of sales and marketing will be responsible for the sales team at the radio station. The role of the sales manager is to lead and motivate a sales team in order to maximize profits and hit sales targets.
Key Responsibility
Manage a dynamic sales team and ensure that the set targets are achieved at all times by developing strategies for the Radio Amani to attain the targets. Develop and execute effective marketing solutions to cultivate brand and growth of Radio
Amani and identify new marketing opportunities.
Key Results Areas
- Develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business growth.
- Ensure that your sales team, have all understood and bought into the strategy.
- Design, implement and facilitate the marketing plan for Radio Amani
- Ensure the sales team members understand the monthly targets set and ensure they achieve them.
- Assign existing clients and territories to the sales team.
- Will be responsible for sales revenue and achieving sales goals, growing and deepening customer relationships that translates into sales; and, general management activities that support sales for instance road shows, internet and social profiles, Community social responsibility among others.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Sales and Marketing from a recognized university.
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, especially from a media/ advertising sector.
- Alternatively an experienced sales person (minimum 4 years) looking to break into Radio advertising sales.
- Excellent, interpersonal communication, report writing, self motivated and computer skills with a good track record of the same.
