Vacancy: Human Resource Officer (Male Only)
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree –Human Resource
- Postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
- A thorough knowledge of Kenya labour laws is a prerequisite
- At least four years’ experience in Human Resource Management
- Experience in an Aviation Industry is an added advantage
- Membership to a relevant professional body i.e. IHRM or KIM

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with people from diverse back ground.
- Ability to obtain confidentiality of information obtained in the course of work.
- Bachelor’s degree (social sciences)
- Postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
- A thorough knowledge of Kenya labour laws is a prerequisite
- At least three years’ experience in Human Resource Management
- Experience in an audit or professional firm is an added advantage
- Preparing and maintaining job descriptions for all staff.
- Ensure implementation of incentive scheme as per policy.
- Ensure compliance of organization policies and procedures.
- Coordinate recruitment process, staff development and conduct of staff induction/orientation courses.
- Ensure the smooth running of HR administrative systems including an up to date HR manual, safe custody of up to date staff records, leave management, learning courses attended, staff appraisal records, exit interviews, HR statistics and staff communications.
- Administer staff benefits including the medical, pension and WIBA schemes.
- Advise the Payroll Administrator on HR related matters affecting the payroll in a timely manner, including statutory requirements
- Clearly understand the Kenya Labour laws and other laws that affect HR. Ensure that the Company is in compliance, and also be on hand to assist staff with matters relating to the labour law, including OHSA adherence.
- Coordinate and resolve staff grievances and manage staff disciplinary cases according to company policy.
- Ensure that all staff are well kitted with full company uniforms as per policy.
- Carry out staff engagement meetings with all staff and report on prepare reports on monthly basis.
