Group Plant & Equipment Manager
Ref: GPEM-014

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Group Plant and Equipment Manager will responsible for:

  • Plan and budget for the plant and equipments in the group
  • Develop systems, policies and procedures that ensure effective and efficient plant use
  • Coordinate the work plant managers in remote sites to ensure regular service and maintenance of the company plant assets
  • Liaising with the procurement department for timely procurement and supply of required machines, spares and other consumables
  • Formulating and implementing machine maintenance schedules
  • Preparation of periodic machinery status reports for the management

Required Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelors degree in mechanic engineering
  • 10 years experience with heavy plant and equipments maintenance
  • Possess excellent planning, coordination, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent English communication skills both oral and written
  • Wide exposure to various brands of machinery
  • Computer literate with Microsoft office suite
Plant & Equipment Manager
Ref: PEM- 014

Reporting to the Group Plant and Equipment Manager or Project Manager, the Plant and Equipment Manager will responsible::

  • Overseeing repair and maintenance of earth moving equipments and construction materials;
  • Direct supervision of maintenance of hydraulics systems, transmission systems and engine assebly of heavy earth moving equipment;
  • Setting up budgets and developing preventive maintenance standards as well as on- time repairs and deliveries;
  • Liaising closely with the materials and procurement department for timely procurement and supply of spares and other equipments;
  • Formulating and implementing maintenance schedules for machinery and vehicles to ensure smooth running of the Company fleet;
  • Compiling reports and advising the management on the current status on Plant equipments;
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Degree or Higher Diploma in a recognized institution.
  • At least (7) years hands on experience in maintenance and repairs of Plant and Equipment in a Construction Industry
  • Conversant with excellent diagnostic, analytical skills other relevant computerized systems;
  • Computer literate and conversant with the ERP systems will be an added advantage;
  • Supervising and training of staff on the new technology trends;
