Location: Nairobi
Salary: Kshs 70,000- 90,000 Gross
Our client is a manufacturing company dealing with a variety of products; industrial adhesives and construction adhesives and is looking to recruit a qualified Quality Assurance Officer
Duties and responsibilities
- Enforcing standard specifications of all products as per customer and market requirements
- Maintain system and process checks for all raw materials, intermediate products, processing chemicals and packaging materials
- Ensure traceability for all products dispatched
- Experimentation and trials for minimising product cost and improving product quality
- Adequate and continuous training of all subordinates
- Maintaining 5S and general cleanliness of all areas
- Ensure an effective calibration system is implemented in all areas
- Ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements
- Co-ordinate external lab testing for effective laboratory operations
- Managing of laboratory equipment and consumables
Required Knowledge and Experience
- University graduate in BSC Analytical Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry or similar academic qualifications
- At least 3 – 5 yrs relevant experience in industrial processing
- Or a Diploma graduate with minimum 5-8 years experience would be considered or HND graduate.
- Quick accurate judgement when faced with multiple solution seeking challenges
- Inductive and deductive thinking
- Result oriented, self-motivated and energetic
- Problem solving & Decision making skills
- Ability to learn new developments
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Position: Production Engineer

Our Client is a renowned international company in the automotive industry dealing with motor cycle production in East Africa and is looking to hire a Production Engineer.
The ideal candidate will oversee and supervise the mounting and assembly of motorcycles.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the assembling of components into a motorcycle
- Supervising the Mounted assembled components, such as engines, batteries, wiring harnesses, electronics, wheels and subassemblies on motorcycle frame
- Training mechanics on the assembling, bleeding and testing of hydraulic fluid systems
- Effectively managing all required paperwork such as Assembly Records, Test Reports and Non-Conformance Reports as required in a timely and organized manner
- Performing inspection using measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specification and standards
- Performing roll testing, on-road test riding and pre-delivery inspections
- Working with management in developing and implementing appropriate assembling procedures
- Helping the management in inventory planning, parts procurement and picking parts
- Training other assembly technicians and oversee assembly process start to finish
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
- A minimum of 10 years work experience in mechanical assembly, repair and maintenance, with 5yrs being in a senior management position.
- Those with experience with motor cycle will have an added advantage.
- Good mechanical reasoning, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability and willingness to comply with work orders and work instructions, follow production drawings and respond to verbal instruction
- Willingness to Travel within and outside the country
- Knowledge in 4-stroke engines and transmission technology desired
- Knowledge in electrical, exhaust and fuel systems desired
- Ability to read part drawings, bill of materials and schematics
- Ability to operate tire mounting and balancing machinery
Salary.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Assistant Marketing Manager

Our client is a textile manufacturer with over 30 years experience seeking to hire an Assistant Marketing Manager whose main role is to market the business. They produce textiles like Maasai shukas, blankets, and sweaters, knitting yarn, duvets, pillows & cushions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager in running the department
- Updating the competitor database by, routine filing and maintenance of marketing documents and samples,
- Development and maintenance of a catalogue of products
- PR and communication
- Assist the marketing management in brand management and awareness
- Implementation of marketing projects such as: Shelf attendants’ incentive programs, rewards to hotel and bakery customers among others,
- Implementation of promotions by the company,
- Providing marketing tracking and research information,
- Attending marketing events, sponsored events and assisting in planning company marketing events,
- Monitoring stock levels of marketing materials, training the sales staff on customer care, shelf planning among other duties assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a business related field and three years marketing experience in FMCG or textile industry.
- Good knowledge of fabric or textile products is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years working experience in busy environment.
