Job Description:

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with all departments to resolve day today user system issues.
• Ensure End of day and backups are done on daily basis
• Work with all departments to resolve day today user system issues.
• Ensure that CCTV are running and updates are taken on daily basis and its backups
• Configure, setup and run routine processes such as metadata input, routing of documents for storage, archiving and file restoration
• Routine monitoring of all daily logs and exception reporting produced by the system.
• Investigate and resolve all events reported on the logs and reports to ensure the system runs at optimum performance – levels.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and tests. Lead all recovery activities for the Core banking system and assist with the recovery of other Bank systems as required

Core Competencies:

• Good understanding of system administrator function for a Windows or Unix system.
• Understanding of web design and some knowledge in Firewalls, Cyberoam, ASA, or SONIC WALLS.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business documentation, professional journals, technical specifications and project management documentation.
• Ability to maintain Daily backups of and update on Disaster recovery sites
• Ability to do End of day and update daily reports on core banking system.
• High level of integrity and honesty.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Be a holder of a University Degree in computer science or any
• IT related field from a recognized institution.
• Passion and commitment to meet business expectation
• Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines and limited supervision
