Our client in the water services industry is looking for a Logistics Executive.
The main purpose for the position is to work hand in hand with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the company.
- Prepare logistics and support plans, deployment timelines and budget requirements for planned or new operations
- Develop logistical plans for existing operations
- Develop and implement methodologies and tools to enable effective execution of logistic plans
- Utilize set Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage logistics operations
- Ensure timely, accountable and cost-effective delivery of equipment
- Coordinate and provide logistics support to ongoing operations
- Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, finance other departments
- Develop and implement logistics support policy, procedures and methodologies to the common benefit of the organization
- Prepare reports on logistics issues
- Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and that all records are maintained
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Business with bias to logistic, operations management, supply chain management
- Additional professional qualifications are an added advantage
- At least 3- 5 years of progressive experience in logistics operations
- Professionalism
- Leadership Communication Planning and Organizing skills
- Decision Making & Teamwork
