National Council of Churches of Kenya, an umbrella organisation for Protestant Churches and Christian Organisations registered in Kenya, invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates, to fill the following positions at its newly established Jumuia Coffee House, Nairobi
Sous Chef
Ref: SC – JCS
Reporting to the Chef, this position is responsible for ensuring proper Preparation of food that conforms with Jumuia Coffee Shop Kitchen Standards and be responsible for the day to day running of the given section within the kitchen.
Also oversee the cook, pastry chef and the kitchen stewards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
- Diploma in Food Production
- 3 years experience in busy high end coffee houses /restaurants environments.
Other Competencies:
- Clear leadership and business management capacities
- Exhibit high sense of hygiene
- Adherence to set standards
