Uzima University College was established by the Archdiocese of Kisumu as a constituent college of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa – CUEA with specialization in teaching and research of Medical and Biomedical sciences.

The institution is accredited by the Commission for University Education – CUE, Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board – MPDB, Nursing Council of Kenya – NCK and Clinical Officers Council – COC.

We wish to recruit dynamic and qualified professionals for various positions within our campus in Kisumu.

1. Senior Lecturers

Applicants should be holders of a PhD or M. Med/ M.Sc in the relevant discipline with at least five (5) years teaching experience at the University level.

They should demonstrate potential to supervise graduate students and have at least two (2) publications in referred journals

2. Lecturers

Applicants should be holders of a PhD or M. Med/ Msc in the relevant discipline with teaching experience at the University level.

They should demonstrate potential to supervise graduate students and have at least two (2) publications in referred journals

3. Assistant Lecturers

Applicants should be holders of M. Med or Msc in the relevant discipline.
 

1. Director School of Nursing

Applicants should be holders of a PhD in the relevant discipline with at least five (5) years teaching experience at the University level.

They should demonstrate potential to supervise post graduate students and have at least two (2) publications in the relevant areas.

Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) will be an added advantage.

2. Lecturer

Applicants should be holders of a PhD or Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with teaching experience at the University level.

They should demonstrate potential to supervise graduate students and have at least two (2) publications in referred journals.

Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) will be an added advantage.

Department of Clinical Medicine

1. Lecturer

Applicants should be holders of a PhD or Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with teaching experience at the University level.

They should demonstrate potential to supervise graduate students and have at least two (2) publications in referred journals.

Registration with the Clinical Officers Council (COC) will be an added advantage.

2. Assistant Lecturers / Clinician

Applicants should be holders of M. Med or Msc in the relevant discipline with teaching experience at the University level.

3. Clinical Instructor / Clinical Officer

Applicants should be holders of Bsc or HND Clinical Medicine
 

Administration Department
 

1 . Fundraising/ Marketing Manager

Applicants should be holders of Bachelors Degree, an MBA will offer added advantage, with at least three (3) years of fundraising experience.

2. IT Assistant

Applicants should be holders of Bachelors Degree or Diploma with experience in IT software, hardware and ability to repair machines.

3. Administration Assistant

Applicants should be holders of Bachelors Degree or Diploma with at least five (5) years experience in a busy office.
