Our client is seeking a FMCG Sage & Pastel Accountant for their manufacturing organization that produces beverages.
Salary KShs 40,000
Job Description
- Maintaining the casual payroll ensuring timely payment of wages weekly
- Assisting in the maintenance of books of accounts by posting of used petty cash vouchers
- Availing requisitioned cash to various events, thereafter reconciling and preparing a weekly report for management indicating usage
- Recording of customer cheques in the cash book and following up on subsequent daily banking of the same
- Carrying out stock taking with the Store Keeper
- Verifying of raw materials being delivered and finished goods as they exit
- Checking on goods to be ordered, audit and reconcile as the true account for management approval
- Analyzing the fuel consumption for all Company vehicles to ensure that usage is within the budget.
- Generating invoices to customers once orders have been issued by the sales team
- Posting of production charts into the systems, finished goods and the raw materials
Required Qualifications
- CPA Section 1
- At least 2 years accounting experience
- Good knowledge of accounting packages
- Must have good working experience and knowledge of Sage and Pastel
- Good communication skills
- A team player
- Good interpersonal skills
