Our client, a leader in home entertainment and communication services has an open position for Chief Legal Officer
Roles and responsibilities
This is a senior position in the organization.
Specific roles include:
To be in charge of all legal matters of the organization
Supervise the legal officers within the region
To take part in high level planning meetings and giving legal advice and opinions
Assessing legal documents of the organization to ensure legal protection of the business
To ensure confidentiality and privacy of all legal data in the organization
To keep track of the latest changes and law regulations and advice the Board
To organize legal representation of the business.
Any other responsibilities assigned
Qualification, experience and skills
- LLB from a recognized institution
- Diploma from Kenya School of Law
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Strategic thinking capacity, excellent analytical, problem solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and lead a team
- Excellent reporting skills
- Dedicated and motivated individual
